Before you blame your adhesive, check these 3 things.

Are you having retention issues?
Before you throw out your glue and order a new one, check these 3 things:
1. Your environment
Your environment affects how quickly your adhesive cures. That doesn’t mean your glue is bad. If you can’t adjust your environment, you may need to adapt your working speed, working faster or slower depending on your conditions.
A hygrometer is a must-have so you actually know what you’re working with in your lash room. Buy one here
2. Choose the right glue speed
We have two speeds for a reason.
If you’re a beginner or need more time to correct your placement, start with our 2–3 second adhesive. It gives you more time to get that lash placed correctly before it begins to cure.
Once you’re more confident and your placement speed is consistent, you can move up to our .5 second adhesive.
Just remember: .5 means FAST. It’s going to cure much quicker, so you need to be confident in your placement.
The goal isn’t to use the fastest glue. It’s to use the glue that matches your speed. 🤎
3. Watch your glue pickup 👀
You want enough glue to create a strong bond but not so much that you’re drowning the extension.
For me, the easiest way to know I have the right amount is watching the glue on the extension.
You should be able to see that shiny, wet bead of adhesive begin to change as it starts curing.
That tells you there’s actually enough glue there to make contact with the natural lash.
Don’t overdo it. But don’t underdo it either.
After 7 years of lashing, I’d rather be able to see my glue and know it’s there than guess.
The goal: enough adhesive for a confident strong bond, without excess. 🤎

P.S. Before your next appointment, check your humidity, temperature, and glue drop. You might fix your retention without changing your adhesive. 🤎
